Week 5: Dress 5 [02/12/11]

Used about 1 yard of a black stretch velvet fabric for this week’s dress. It easily slips on & is modestly fitted. Designed this dress in hopes of carrying a conservative yet elegant look. The straps serve both for the design and function of the dress. I needed a way to hold down the back yoke decoratively, so I added those three straps. This dress is definitely a personal favorite.
